The present invention relates to a TV signal modulation system with an automatic announcement switching function and a control method thereof. To achieve this, the TV signal modulation system with an automatic announcement switching function comprises: a voice signal detector (34) which detects the existence of a guidance voice signal; a control signal generator (35) which generates a broadcast switching signal and a guidance switching signal based on a signal detected by the voice signal detector (34); a voice signal switcher (33) which switches a broadcast voice signal and a guidance voice signal based on a switching signal generated by the control signal generator (35); a guidance character generator (30) which is connected to an image character inserter (31) to generate a guidance character signal to be inserted into a screen in the event of an announcement; the image character inserter (31) which inserts, into an input broadcast image signal, guidance characters generated by the guidance character generator (30) based on a switching signal generated by the control signal generator (35); and a TV signal modulator (32) which converts a voice signal output of the voice signal switcher (33) and an image signal output of the image character inserter (31) into an RF TV signal. The present invention as configured above can automatically switch voice from TV broadcasting on the air to an announcement and can insert guidance characters (e.g., ″announcement″ or the like) into an image screen, when a voice guidance signal is input with a microphone or the like without external separate equipment in case of outputting an emergency announcement or the like. Accordingly, quality and reliability of the product can be significantly improved to satisfy various needs of consumers who are users, thereby presenting a good image thereto. |
