Disclosed is a high-precision live wire insulation resistance measurement apparatus capable of accurately measuring a high-precision live wire insulation resistance by preventing a signal outputted from a function generator from being applied as the common mode noise of a differential amplifier which detects both end voltages of a detection resistance in the measurement of the live wire insulation resistance. The live wire insulation resistance measurement apparatus measures an insulation resistance between the distribution system power line in which IT ground is applied in a live wire state and the ground. The live wire insulation resistance measurement apparatus comprises the detection resistance connected to the power line; the function generator to provide a sign wave signal to the detection resistance; and the differential amplifier to detect both end voltages of the detection resistance. The function generator and the ground for inner power of the differential amplifier are arranged in a connection node of the detection resistance and the function generator.
