摘要 FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: electroneuromyography (ENMG) and ultrasonography (US) of the motor and sensor fibres of peripheral nerves of the upper and lower limbs are carried out. The US is performed in the B mode along the whole visualised length of the nerve. If the ENMG shows a conductivity unit (CU), and/or a nerve conduction velocity (NCV) in the motor fibres of the peripheral nerves decreasing, and no impaired sensory fibres being observed alongside with the presence of ultrasonic structural changes in the CU or NCV - lower echogenicity with a cable construction blurring by prevailing the fascicular component and/or with a cable construction blurring and a loss by fusing the nerve structures and no differentiation of the interstitial and fascicular components and/or higher echogenicity by prevailing thickening interstitial components without fascicular expansion with the cable construction blurring, with prolonged or local, symmetrical or asymmetrical extension of all these structural changes, the multifocal motor neuropathy is diagnosed.EFFECT: method enables providing more reliable diagnosis that is ensured by combining the ENMG and US along the whole visualised length of the nerve.2 dwg, 4 ex
