<p>Methods, apparatus, and computer-readable media for enabling real-time competition based on commodities. An exemplary computer-implemented method executed by one or more computing devices for enabling real-time competition based on commodities includes receiving information from a first user including a selection of a commodity and a competitive position corresponding to a criteria associated with the commodity, determining, based at least in part on real-time information regarding the selected commodity, whether the competitive position regarding the criteria is consistent with the real-time information, transmitting information to the first user indicating an outcome that is favorable based at least in part of a determination that the competitive position regarding the criteria is consistent with the real-time information, and transmitting information to the first user indicating an outcome that is not favorable based at least in part of a determination that the competitive position regarding the criteria is not consistent with the real-time information.</p> |
