The present invention relates to a human dual-specificity tyrosine (Y) regulated kinase 1A (DYRK1A) transgenic Drosophila or a minibrain gene transgenic Drosophila, wherein the DYRK1A is a human Down syndrome gene and the minibrain gene is a Drosophila homologous gene of DYRK1A, to a method for producing same, and to a method for screening a Down syndrome-related phenotypic drug by using the transgenic Drosophila. More particularly, a Drosophila having a transgene of the human dual-specificity tyrosine (Y) regulated kinase 1A (DYRK1A) or minibrain, according to the present invention, nervous system-specifically overexpresses hDYRK1A or minibrain, thereby expressing shorter lifespan, reduced motor ability, and abnormalities in nervous system development, is simpler to manipulate compared to existing rat models, is very economical, and displays a phenotype allowing easy observation of Down syndrome symptoms, and thus can be useful in effectively screening the Down syndrome-related phenotypic drug.
|
