The present invention relates to a composition comprising an extract of Cnidium monnieri (L.) Cusson. More specifically, the extract of Cnidium monnieri (L.) Cusson shows an effect of preventing infected pathogenic microorganisms by improving an immunity performance of Raw 264.7 cells, and improving a survival rate and immunity of E.coli infected animal models, thereby being useful as a component of food, medicines, and feed having an excellent immune defense effect against pathological microbe infection.
