The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing a route guide service which displays greenhouse gas emissions. The system comprises: a user terminal to transmit, to a route service device, a route guide request signal including a destination and vehicle information when a route guide command including the destination and the vehicle information is inputted, to receive, from the route service device, route information which displays reference greenhouse gas emissions of all routes to connect a starting point and the destination, and to display the route information; and the route service device to search for routes to connect the starting point and the destination from a route information database when the route guide request signal including the destination and the vehicle information is received from the user terminal, to calculate the reference greenhouse gas emissions of each route using road environment information and the vehicle information of the searched routes, and then to transmit, to the user terminal, the route information including the reference greenhouse gas emissions of each route. |
