FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: weaving mechanism of a braiding machine consists of a plate with installed system of impeller gears, guideways for the movement of spindles. In the mechanism the guideways are made as two closed ring-shape periodically twisting grooves placed at different levels and having different width. The upper level groove is wider than the lower level groove, and the spindle bases are made as guiding trays with their profile being formed by cylindrical surfaces with the radiuses equal to the radiuses of the guiding grooves and with the width equal to the width of the respective groove.EFFECT: simplified design, higher reliability and smaller dimensions.3 dwg
