FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pigment granules comprising one or more flake-like effect pigments, as well as to use thereof for support medium pigmentation, e.g., for powder coatings and particularly plastic, and for preparing concentrated dyes. The pigment granules comprise one or more flake-like effect pigments selected from a group consisting of pearlescent pigments, interference pigments, metal-effect pigments, multilayered pigments having one or more transparent, semi-transparent and/or opaque layers, goniochromatic pigments, holographic pigments, coated or uncoated BiOCL flakes and/or LCP pigments, polymer particles or mixtures of polymer particles, an adhesion accelerator, an antioxidant and optionally common additives. The polymer particles consist of polyolefin particles and have a size of 1-5 mm. The pigment granules are prepared by mixing said components with each other simultaneously or successively.EFFECT: granules are dustless, are well embedded into a support medium, particularly polyolefin plastic, and also do not exhibit a tendency for dangerous spontaneous heating.18 cl, 4 ex |
