PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viewing operation log data generation device which can suppress a server load and can generate highly reliable data provided for rating survey.SOLUTION: STB4 is connected to an HDMI input terminal 25 of TV2 for outputting a TV program received in accordance with a viewing operation on a real time basis. When a control section 44 performs viewing operation control for outputting the TV program corresponding to the viewing operation, which is inputted via an infrared ray code input section 43 or a radio communication section 42, the control section generates viewing operation log data on the TV program outputted to TV2 and transmits the viewing operation log data to a management server 9 connected to an Internet network 10 via the radio communication section 42. Thus, "data which can directly specify rating"(log data) transmitted from STB4 installed in each house of a subject is accumulated in a database which the management server 9 possesses. The management server 9 is not necessary to perform complicated processing such as voice matching. |
