<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a waste of band in a physical channel having a set path, with a label length maintained within a standard.SOLUTION: A packet communication device includes a search unit for searching for combinations between a label to identify a packet transmission path on receipt of a packet and an output unit for outputting the packet to a physical channel having the transfer path set thereto. The packet communication device also includes an identification unit for identifying a plurality of combinations including a common output unit, that is, the same output unit combined with a plurality of labels, among the combinations obtained from the search by the search unit. The packet communication device further includes a multiplexer unit for multiplexing the plurality of labels, combined with the common output unit, with the packet to be output from the common output unit to the physical channel, when the identification unit identifies the plurality of combinations including the common output unit.</p> |
