<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive surface-mounted electrochemical cell which prevents a short circuit in the cell and is highly safe.SOLUTION: There is provided the electrochemical cell including: a first container constituent part 3 of a flat plate shape; a second container constituent part 2 which is formed of a bottomed cylindrical metal and forms a closed space with the first container constituent part 3; and a positive electrode active material 13, a negative electrode active material 11, an electrolyte, and a separator 12 for separating the positive electrode active material 13 from the negative electrode active material 11, which are stored in the closed space. A first external terminal 6 and a second external terminal 7 are provided on an outer lower surface of the first container constituent part 3. The first external terminal 6 is electrically connected to the positive electrode active material 13, and the second external terminal 7 is electrically connected to the negative electrode active material 11 via the second container constituent part 2. An insulator 14 is formed on an inner side surface of the second container constituent part 2.</p> |
