CONCRETE STRUCTURE PREVENTING PLANT FROM GROWING FROM JOINT LINE OF ASPHALT PAVEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete structure which reduces mowing as pavement management thereby prolonging the life of an asphalt pavement.SOLUTION: A top surface 3 of a concrete structure 1 is tilted and residence of rainwater is prevented so that adherence of a plant seed is prevented. Furthermore an adhesive surface 4 of an asphalt pavement 2 is tilted. As a result, adhesion force to asphalt is made stronger so that penetration of water is prevented, a plant is prevented from growing in a joint line between the asphalt pavement 2 and the concrete structure 1, the necessity of mowing is eliminated and the life of the asphalt pavement is prolonged.
