PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmentally friendly water-repellent fiber structure excellent in terms of water repellency and underwater wetness abatement and capable of inhibiting discharges of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) into environments (effluents) during a production process and the generation of the PFOA from the fiber structure.SOLUTION: The provided water-repellent fiber structure consists of synthetic fibers including polyurethane elastic yarns in a state where a fluorine-containing polymer derived from a fluoroalkyl group-containing (meth)acrylic derivative including 6 or fewer carbon atoms and a fluorinated monomer and at least one type selected from between an aminoplast resin and a water-dispersible polyfunctional isocyanate crosslinking agent are adhered thereto via at least one type selected from among sulfonyl group-containing compounds and polyphenol compounds and fixed to the fiber surface.
|
