The present invention discloses a machine (1) for preparing aromatic beverages, such as expresso coffee, having a plurality of electric energy consumers (2), at least one internal energy source (3), connection means for connecting to at least one external energy source (4) and an energy management device (5) that monitors low-voltage operation of the machine, both when the machine is connected to an external energy source (4) and when it is not thus connected. The present invention further discloses a method for operating a beverage preparation machine (1) provided with low-voltage operation means when the machine is supplied with electric energy by an internal and/or external energy source (3, 4). |
