<p>Provided are a motor control device and a motor control method with which control can be implemented to accurately achieve a constant air quantity without relying upon pressure loss conditions and electrostatic pressure variation, while reducing the number of experimental operations required. A motor control device (110) for controlling a motor (105) which drives an air-blowing unit (104) is provided with: a target-motor-output calculation unit (115) which calculates a target motor output (P*) for causing the air quantity supplied by the air-blowing unit (104) to correspond to a target air quantity (Q*); and an operation-command generation unit (116) which acquires the motor output (P) of the motor (105), and commands, on the basis of a comparison result between the motor output (P) and the target motor output (P*), a physical quantity of the motor (105) so as to cause the motor output (P) to correspond to the target motor output (P*). The target-motor-output calculation unit (115) calculates the target motor output (P*) as the product of the cube of the motor speed (ω), and a variable polynomial expression in which the target air quantity (Q*) is divided by the motor speed (ω).</p> |
