摘要 <p>A communication system (1) having base stations (20) which correspond to each of a plurality of cells (C20), and a mobile station (30). The cells (C20) are divided into a plurality of first groups to which a different type of synchronization signal is assigned. The base stations (20) are equipped with a transmission unit for transmitting a frame which contains the synchronization signal assigned to the first group to which each base station belongs, and reports cell (C20) identification information by using a transmission resource which corresponds to the synchronization signal, differs for each first group, and is defined by interval and frequency. The mobile station (30) is equipped with a detection unit for detecting the synchronization signal from a received frame, and a cell identification unit for identifying the cell by identifying the transmission resource in the received frame and corresponding to the synchronization signal detected by the detection unit, and acquiring the identification information from the transmission resource identified in the received frame.</p>
