The present invention relates to a method by which a terminal processes a radio link failure (RLF) by detecting the same and, specifically, a method and an apparatus for processing an RLF if the terminal detects the occurrence of the RLF of a cell associated with a specific base station especially when a terminal accesses at least two cells from different base stations. The method by which a terminal processes a RLF comprises the steps of: configuring a dual connection of at least one cell associated with a first base station and at least one cell associated with a second base station; detecting the occurrence of a RLF of at least one cell from the at least one cell associated with the first base station and/or the at least one cell associated with the second base station; transmitting a signal related to the RLF to the first base station or second base station; and receiving setting information for processing the RLF.
