ACCELERATION OF LOW-RANK MRI DATA ACQUISITION

The present invention provides a method of recovery of an undersampled low-rank Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) dataset. The method comprises the steps of: undersampling the dataset; and employing an Iterative Hard Thresholding and Matrix Shrinkage (IHT+MS) algorithm, on the data set, to directly reconstruct the low-rank data set.
