[Problem] To provide an apparatus for securely operating an extraction steam turbine power-generating facility designed to supply steam and electric power by an extraction steam turbine, wherein there is almost no effect on the operation of a production process that uses steam and electric power, and damage to a thrust bearing by excessive thrust force of the extraction steam turbine can be prevented. [Solution] The pressure of a low-pressure chamber in a low-pressure section of the extraction steam turbine is monitored, and when this pressure is greater than a predetermined reference pressure of the low-pressure chamber that corresponds to the current detection pressure of a high-pressure chamber in a high-pressure section, the opening degree of a main steam regulation valve is temporarily narrowed by a constant amount to reduce the rate of steam flow into the high-pressure section until the pressure of the low-pressure chamber decreases to the reference pressure or below, while extraction steam pressure control is maintained. |
