PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an untranslated candidate.SOLUTION: A translation support device 100 generates a subtree corresponding to a combination of all character strings by applying a bottom-up sentence analysis rule to original sentence information and translation sentence information, and associates subtrees of an original sentence with subtrees of a translation sentence respectively. The translation support device 100 evaluates correspondence degree from the presence/absence of relationship between words based on a bilingual dictionary and closeness of the number of constituting words, for each pair of the subtree of the original sentence and the subtree of the translation sentence. |
