PROJECTOR AND HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of preventing erroneous heating and cooling of light-emitting elements even when temperature of the light-emitting elements cannot be properly detected.SOLUTION: A head-up display device includes a projector. The projector includes light-emitting elements, a temperature detection unit, heating/cooling units, and an anomaly determination unit. The light-emitting elements emit projection light, and the temperature detection unit measures temperature around the light-emitting elements. The heating/cooling units heat or cool the light-emitting elements based on detected temperature. The anomaly determination unit determines whether the temperature detection unit is properly detecting the temperature or not based on the temperature detected by the temperature detection unit and operation of the heating/cooling units.
