摘要 Disclosed is a depth map frame decoding method comprising the steps of: reconstructing a color frame on the basis of encoding information of the color frame acquired from bitstreams; splitting a maximum encoding unit of the depth map frame into one or more encoding units on the basis of split information of the depth map frame acquired from the bitstreams; splitting the encoding unit into one or more prediction units for a predicted decoding; acquiring whether to split a current prediction unit into partitions from the bistreams and determining whether to split the current prediction unit into one or more partitions and decode the split partitions; when it is determined that the current prediction unit is split into the partitions and the split partitions are decoded, acquiring information indicating whether to split the current prediction unit into the partitions from the bitstreams and determining whether to decode the current prediction unit by using differential information indicating a difference between a depth value of the partition corresponding to an original depth map frame and a depth value of the partition predicted from a neighboring block of the current prediction unit; and decoding the current prediction unit by using the differential information based on whether to split the current prediction unit into the partitions and whether to use the differential information.
