The present invention relates to a composition for preparing a ceramic fiber and a salt-soluble ceramic fiber prepared therefrom for a high-temperature insulation material and, more specifically, to a composition for enhancing the solubility of a ceramic fiber in an artificial saline body fluid, by containing SiO2 as a network-forming oxide and CaO as a modifying oxide in a specifically controlled proportion, and optionally containing MgO as an additional modifying oxide, and Al2O3, B2O3, Na2O, etc., serving as an intermediate oxide and a flux. In addition, the present invention relates to: a composition for preparing a ceramic fiber, having a high melting temperature of 1400 °C or above and thus suitable for preparing a ceramic fiber for a high-temperature insulation material, having excellent thermal/mechanical properties including heat resistance, compressive strength, and restoring force, even when used in a high temperature, and providing excellent economic effects, such as being capable of easily preparing a ceramic fiber by utilizing existing equipment as it is while omitting ZrO2, which is a high-priced raw material component; and a salt-soluble ceramic fiber prepared therefrom for a high-temperature insulation material.
|
