摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axle device in which wheel holding power is improved by a simple structure and dimension increase is prevented.SOLUTION: An outer peripheral surface of an axle housing includes: a first outer peripheral surface; a second outer peripheral surface; and a step part. The first outer peripheral surface supports a first bearing. The second outer peripheral surface has an outer diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the first outer peripheral surface. The step part is positioned between the first outer peripheral surface and the second outer peripheral surface. The axle housing includes: a spline; and a relief groove. The spline is provided on the second outer peripheral surface and extends in an axial direction on the outer peripheral surface of the axle housing. The relief groove extends in a circumferential direction on the second outer peripheral surface of the axle housing and is disposed between the spline and the step part in the axial direction. A ring gear hub is connected with the axle housing through the spline. A second fixing member fits in the relief groove. An outer peripheral surface of the second fixing member is positioned at the outer side relative to an inner peripheral surface of the first bearing in a radial direction.
