PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a function for simultaneously supplying a cylinder head and components of the cylinder head and a rolling function of the cylinder head, transfer a work-piece so that the work-piece passes through a cell, and increase the efficiency of assembly work of a valve retainer.SOLUTION: An assembly device of the invention includes a main pallet and a sub pallet which may be separated from the main pallet and transfers a cylinder head and components of the cylinder head. The assembly device includes: a lifting mechanism which separates the cylinder head mounted on the main pallet from the main pallet to move up and down the cylinder head; a moving mechanism which separates the sub pallet from the main pallet to move up and down the sub pallet; a rotary mechanism which holds the cylinder head moved up to a work-piece work region; a work unit which takes out a valve retainer from the sub pallet moved up to a component preparation region and assembles the valve retainer to the cylinder head; and a separation device which is disposed between the work-piece work region and the component preparation region and separates a pair of cotter pieces of the valve retainer. |
