PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid device for detecting an analyte in a sample of body fluid.SOLUTION: A fluid device comprises: a sample collection unit adapted to supply a sample of body fluid to the fluid device; an analysis assembly adapted to fluid-communicate with the sample collection unit for emitting an optical signal indicating existence of an analyte in the sample of the body fluid; and a light-extinction assembly adapted to fluid-communicate with the analysis assembly for reducing interference of the optical signal. In one aspect, the analysis assembly comprises a plurality of agent chambers for storing at least one type of an agent to be used for the above mentioned analysis and at least one reaction site for storing a reactant connected to the analyte.
