<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which avoids shortcomings of conventional methods, retains good characteristics of liner techniques used ordinarily, eliminating void spaces and fine void spaces and does not cause such difficulties.SOLUTION: A method of producing a pipe whose inside surface is lined with a thermoplastic layer includes a step a) of preparing a pipe, a step b) of preparing an in-liner composed of a thermoplastic material, a step c) of optionally reducing the cross sectional area of the in-liner by an action of an external force, a step d) of introducing the in-liner into the pipe, a step e) of heating the pipe externally to a temperature higher than the crystal melting point Tof the molding material of the outer-side surface of the in-liner during or after the introduced in-liner's expanding in the radial direction so that the outer-side surface of the in-liner forms an inner contour of the pipe, and a step f) of cooling the in-liner.</p> |
