GAME BOARD AND METHOD FOR PLAYING A STRATEGY GAME

A game board and method are disclosed for playing a strategy game. The strategy game provides a pyramid shaped game board that requires players to utilize stratagem to be first to reach the pyramid apex, while eliminating each other's playing pieces. Each players starts with playing pieces, such as marbles. The playing pieces start in a starting area located at a lowermost level, and advance up the pyramid to the apex. The players advance one space by moving the playing piece in any direction towards an open space. The players advance additional spaces by jumping their own playing piece, or opposing player's playing pieces. The jump over multiple playing pieces requires a space between each jumped playing piece. The player wins by reaching the apex first or eliminating all the opposing playing pieces. The player must have a last playing piece left to win when reaching the apex.

1. A strategy game for a plurality of players, the strategy game comprising:
a plurality of sets of playing pieces, each set bearing an identifying indicium for that set, each set comprising a plurality of playing pieces; and a multi-level game board, the multi-level game board being divided into a matrix of spaces forming a plurality of concentric perimeters, each perimeter comprising a separate level, an innermost perimeter being disposed to surround a single central space, the central space forming an uppermost level, an outermost perimeter forming a lowermost level, the outermost perimeter comprising a plurality of starting areas, wherein a player starts with one set of playing pieces, the set of playing pieces being disposed to position in the starting area, wherein the player moves each playing piece at least one space across the multi-level game board towards the central space, wherein the player jumps over at least one own playing piece to advance towards the central space, wherein the player jumps over at least one opposing player playing piece to advance towards the central space or eliminate the opposing player playing piece, wherein the player wins the strategy game by advancing a player's last marble to the central space first or eliminating all the opposing player playing pieces.
