PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoding and decoding method of effectiveness mapping by context adaptive encoding or decoding, and to provide an encoder/decoder.SOLUTION: In a method of reconfiguring an effective coefficient flag for a conversion unit from a bit stream of encoded data, the bit stream includes encoded effective coefficient group flags, and each effective coefficient group flag corresponds to each group of effective coefficient flag. The method includes a step for reconfiguring an effective coefficient group flag corresponding to each group, in the group scan order, for each group of the effective coefficient flags, a step for decoding the effective coefficient flag from a bit stream, in the scan order, within the group when a corresponding effective coefficient group flag is non-zero, and a step for reconfiguring the effective coefficient flags in the group by setting the effective coefficient flag to zero when a corresponding effective coefficient group flag is zero. |
