摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon material for a lithium ion secondary battery negative electrode which achieves a high-level of an initial efficiency and high-level cycle characteristics in good balance, and can be arranged to have a high density.SOLUTION: An amorphous carbon material is used as a negative electrode material of a lithium ion secondary battery. The amorphous carbon material has a circularity of 0.7-0.9, and an average particle diameter of 1-30 μm. In the amorphous carbon material, the content of transition metal is 700-2500 ppm in total.
