PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern formation method used for manufacturing a liquid crystal display element and with improved patterning accuracy.SOLUTION: The pattern formation method forms a pattern 11 with corner parts on a substrate for composing a liquid crystal display element by printing which may be screen printing, and overlaps straight line portions of two patterns so as to intersect with each other by two times of printing to form the corner parts of a region 12. The pattern 11 can be used as an external color filter. |
