PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel having an electrode equipped with fine line metal mesh made of a copper layer by patterning on a transparent base material, capable of suppressing a reflection color by the copper layer and improving visibility of a display image, and also to provide an image display unit using the same.SOLUTION: A touch panel includes: a transparent base material; an electrode equipped with conductor mesh formed on the transparent base material; and a transparent glass substrate. The conductor mesh is formed of a copper layer. A hue adjustment layer including a transparent high refractive index layer and a low refractive index layer are sequentially laminated at least on the copper layer of an electrode on an observer side. If a reflection color of the hue adjustment layer is expressed with L*a*b* in compliance with JIS Z 8729:2004, the value of b* is -3 or lower. |
