PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilized pharmaceutical suspension for pediatric and adult use which is expressed by the following formula: Carisbamate (S-(2-(2-chlorophenyl)-2-hydroxyethyl) oxo-carboxamide).SOLUTION: The suspension is stabilized with hypromellose (HPMC) to prevent crystal growth of the suspended particles and to prevent change in polymorphic form with re-crystallization of the drug product.
