<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a laminate for forming a conductor layer excellent in peel strength on a smooth insulator layer surface while maintaining a glass transition temperature and a tensile elastic modulus dispensing with an excess process of removing a metal foil.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a laminate having an insulator layer and a metal film layer includes the processes of placing a prepreg between substrates, curing to form the insulator layer, removing the substrates, roughening the surface of the insulator layer, and forming the metal film layer by electroless plating, where the prepreg contains 40-80 mass% of an inorganic filler, the insulator layer has a glass transition temperature of 150-270°C, a tensile elastic modulus of 10-35 GPa, and a surface roughness of 0.1-600 nm after roughening the insulator layer, and the peel strength after forming the metal layer by electroless plating is 0.45-10 kgf/cm.</p> |
