<p>A tester and a method for testing a smoke amount of an electronic cigarette. The tester comprises a collecting apparatus (100) used for collecting smoke, a detecting apparatus used for detecting a smoke transparency, a control apparatus (300) used for controlling the analysis and processing, and an input/output apparatus (500). The input/output apparatus (500) can directly set a detection parameter, and display, by using a warning, a smoke amount and whether a test result is qualified. The collecting apparatus (100) introduces a step motor (101) to precisely control a smoking time and a smoking capacity. The detection apparatus uses an optical transmitter (201) and an optical receiver (202) to perform detection. The control apparatus (300) analyzes an obtained actual smoke amount according to the detection result of the detection apparatus, and compares the actual smoke amount with a preset minimum smoke amount, and displays a warning and/or sends a sound warning when the actual smoke amount is smaller than the preset minimum smoke amount. The tester and the method for testing a smoke amount of an electronic cigarette quantifies a smoke amount of an electronic cigarette and can be used in the detection of the smoke amount in the manufacturing field of electronic cigarettes.</p> |
