PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head X1 in which heat radiated from a heating part can be utilized effectively.SOLUTION: A thermal head X1 comprises a substrate 7, an electric resistance layer 15 which is provided on the substrate 7 and includes a base part 15a and an apex part 15b provided on the base part 15a, a common electrode 17 in which comb-like extension parts 17c extending from one side toward the electric resistance layer 15 are included and a part of each of the extension parts 17c is arranged on the electric resistance layer 15, and individual electrodes 19 in each of which one end part 19a extending from the other side toward the electric resistance layer 15 in the extension part 17c is included and a part of the one end part 19a is arranged on the electric resistance layer 15. At least one side of the extension part 17c of the common electrode 17 and the one end part 19a of the individual electrode 19 includes narrow-width parts 2, 4 and the narrow-width parts 2, 4 are arranged on the apex 15b of the electric resistance layer 15. |
