A digital data security system for controlling inbound Internet communications, said system comprising; a web application platform, on a non-transitory readable storage medium, for controlling Internet traffic to and from a private ecosystem, said private ecosystem having a secured digital file repository and an active directory establishing access credentials; and an application programming interface (“API”) electronically accessing said a web application platform, said API adapted to: monitor said Internet traffic at said web application platform for communications bearing an inbound digital file comprising markup language tags constructed according to a markup language document object model (“DOM”); insert a textual cryptographic token, inertly embedded within at least one markup language tag of said digital file, with encrypted authenticity data; and record authenticity attributes of said digital file in a local record database.
