摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a method for preparing a light distillate from an extra-heavy distillate by using a heteropolyacid catalyst substituted with cesium, and a method for regenerating the catalyst, and more specifically, to a method for preparing a light distillate by using a heteropolyacid substituted with cesium as a catalyst in hydrocracking of an extra-heavy distillate, and a method for regenerating the used catalyst for reuse thereof. The method for producing a light distillate by using a heteropolyacid substituted with cesium according to the present invention can prepare a light distillate by effectively decomposing an extra-heavy distillate with much higher reactivity compared with fluid catalytic cracking (FCC), which is mainly used in the decomposition of a middle distillate, maintains the durability of a catalyst even in high temperature conditions for the decomposition of an extra-heavy distillate, and shows high liquid yield, an asphaltene conversion ratio and hydrodemetallization (HDM) activity.</p>
