PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gallium oxide powder with excellent handleability, in which generation of fine particles in charging raw materials is suppressed, mixing of impurity into the powder is reduced, and filling rate in charging raw materials is high, and to provide a manufacturing method of gallium oxide powder with excellent handleability, in which mixing of impurity into the powder is reduced, and filling rate in charging raw materials is relatively high.SOLUTION: There is provided gallium oxide powder in which an average particle diameter is 1.0 mm or more and 12 mm or less, and bulk density is 2.6 g/cmor more. Further, a manufacturing method of gallium oxide powder has: a granulation process of granulating gallium oxide raw material powder to obtain granules; a thermal treatment process having a thermal treatment step in which the granules are thermally treated within a range of 1050°C or higher and 1400°C or lower to obtain a processed product and a loosening step in which adherence among particles which constitute the processed product is loosened; and a burning process having a burning step in which the processed product is burnt at 1500°C or higher to obtain a burnt product and a loosening step in which adherence among particles which constitute the burnt product is loosened. |
