PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement towing or pushing from back safely even in a case where a towing vehicle which is not equipped with a linkage-type brake system is towed or pushed from back.SOLUTION: A first vehicle and a second vehicle are articulated by articulating means so that the separation distance between the vehicles is varied during towing running or pushing-from-back running, and a varying amount of the separation distance is detected by sensor means so that it is recognized if both of the first vehicle and the second vehicle are under a stop state, a towing running state or a pushing-from-back running state, and the brake situation of a power vehicle is recognized and the brake situation of the other vehicle to be towed or to be pushed from back is controlled depending on that. The articulating means is configured so that the separation distance between both vehicles is varied during towing running or pushing-from-back running. The sensor means detects the varying amount of the separation distance between both vehicles by detecting the position of a towing bar or an articulating pin which slidably moves in an articulating device through the sensor means. |
