PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device with a large capacity and high reliability, and also to provide a compact power storage device capable of being installed indoors even when its capacity is large.SOLUTION: A power storage system comprises an AC/DC converter, a first control device, a power storage device, and a load. The first control device comprises a measuring unit which measures the amount of power consumed by the load, a predicting unit which predicts the amount of demand power to be consumed by the load on the basis of the amount of power consumed by the load, and a planning unit which plans charging and discharging of the power storage device on the basis of the amount of demand power predicted by the predicting unit. The power storage device comprises a second control device, a DC/DC converter, a first battery cell group, and a second battery cell group. The power storage device is housed in an underfloor space part surrounded by a foundation part and floor of a building. |
