PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device having dosage management functions suitable for giving dosage management functions to a communication device such as a telephone set installed in a house to support the dosage management by a stay-at-home patient himself/herself, a member of the patient's family, or a caregiver and the like and prevent the patient from forgetting to take medicine and the shortage of medicine.SOLUTION: The communication device having dosage management functions include: dosage associated data input means for inputting dosage associated data relating to dosage time information showing the time that each medicine should be taken, dosage amount information showing a dosage amount of one dosage, and a total dosage amount; means for storing a photograph of an appearance of each medicine in association with the medicine; means for displaying a notice that the dosage time has come and information of the appearance and the like of the medicine to be taken; and means for registering notification conditions relating to an accident and a shortage of a remaining amount of the medicine and a notification destination, and issuing an alarm for the accident and the shortage of the remaining amount of the medicine to a predetermined destination when the notification conditions are met. |
