PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling feedback information transmitted from a mobile station to a base station, on the basis of a propagation state in a multi-user MIMO system.SOLUTION: The mobile station measures a propagation state of a desired signal channel from the base station, to transmit the measured propagation state information to the base station. The base station receives the propagation state information from the mobile station, and determines the number of feedback bits on the basis of the propagation state information, to notify the mobile station of the determined number of feedback information bits. The mobile station generates feedback information according to the notified number of feedback bits.
