<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an influenza vaccine composition stable at refrigeration temperatures.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an influenza vaccine composition stable in a refrigerator consists of: a step of infecting a host egg population or a host cell population with influenza virus; a step of culturing the host egg population or the host cell population at appropriate temperatures; a step of recovering the influenza virus as a collection of viruses; a step of obtaining a clarified collection of viruses by clarification of the collection of viruses by filtration; a step of obtaining a further clarified collection of viruses by continuous flow centrifugation of the clarified collection of viruses; and a step of sterilizing the further clarified collection of viruses by filtration. A influenza virus composition stable in a refrigerator contains the viral strain and one or more ingredients selected from sucrose, arginine monohydrochloride, monosodium glutamate monohydrate, and gelatin hydrolyzate.</p> |
