<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control technique for making it possible to flexibly handle addition/change of a remotely controllable item while requiring no dedicated server.SOLUTION: When receiving a menu notification mail to which icon information including information showing an item capable of being selected by remote operation and class information showing a group including the item for each item is attached, from a telephone terminal 1; a portable terminal 2 extracts the icon information from the menu notification mail, and makes a user select any one icon information for each class information. The portable terminal 2 generates an operation content notification mail to which information showing an item included in the icon information selected for each class information is attached as information showing an item selected by the remote operation, and transmits the operation content notification mail to the telephone terminal 1 to request execution of processing according to the item selected by the remote operation, where predetermined information is acquired and attached to the operation content notification mail when the information showing the item selected by the remote operation shows processing using the predetermined information.</p> |
