摘要 The present invention relates to coating compositions formed by combining two latex resins: a base latex resin and a stratifying latex resin. The stratifying latex resin comprises hybrid metal oxide latex particles wherein the hybrid particles are the polymerization reaction product of at least one or more copolymerizable monoethylenically unsaturated monomers, wherein the monoethylenically unsaturated monomers comprise at least one low surface energy driver monomer selected from the group consisting of (i) a fluorine containing monomer; and (ii) a silane-containing monomer; and wherein the polymerization reaction is in the presence of a metal oxide nanoparticle; and wherein the metal oxide nanoparticle is embedded within the hybrid particles.
