A multipurpose portable speaker, comprising: a primary speaker (1), a secondary speaker (2) and a connecting piece (3) which are magnetically attracted to each other. The primary speaker (1) comprises: a first circuit board (11), a first loudspeaker (13) and a first passive radiation assembly (14) which are arranged in a first shell (10); and the secondary speaker (2) comprises: a second circuit board (21), a second loudspeaker (23) and a second passive radiation assembly (24) which are arranged in a second shell (20), wherein the second circuit board (21) receives an audio electrical signal transmitted by the first circuit board (11) through the connecting piece (3), sound production directions of both the first loudspeaker (13) and the second loudspeaker (23) face to the connecting piece, and the first passive radiation assembly (14) is capable of being magnetically attracted to or separated from the second passive radiation assembly (24). The multipurpose portable speaker effectively overcomes the defect that general speakers cannot be used in a combination state, improves the effect of low sound, is easy to use and carry, and has the functions of resistance to water, dust and being dropped.
