Disclosed are a multi-mode dual-standby mobile terminal and a network registration method therefor. The multi-mode dual-standby mobile terminal comprises an application and user interface layer module, a single-chip protocol stack module and a multi-mode radio-frequency physical layer processing module, wherein the single-chip protocol stack module comprises: a first standby unit which is set to reside in a GSM network, use the GSM network to provide a CS domain service, and use the GSM network to provide a PS domain service after both the coverage of a TD network and the coverage of an LTE network have been lost; and a second standby unit which is set to reside in the TD network or the LTE network, use the TD network or the LTE network to provide the PS domain service, and switch between the TD network and the LTE network. By means of the present invention, the problems of a heavier load of the GSM network and poor voice service perception of the LTE/TD network in the related art are solved, costs and power consumption are reduced, and the technical effects of shunting services and balancing network loads are achieved. |
