PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve constant recording quality in a same recording surface.SOLUTION: In a recording medium P conveyed by a grip roller that has a protrusion protruded in an outer circumferential direction and is in contact with one surface of the recording medium P, pseudo recording image data is generated including a pseudo pixel whose density is corrected from a predetermined pixel determined according to an arrangement pattern of the protrusion in the grip roller of pixels recorded on a second area 702 other than a first area 701 being in contact with the protrusion, and recording operation is performed on the basis of the pseudo recording image data generated.
